I'm sorry I've been MIA for quite some time now, but I wanted to touch base and let you know that I'm still here, I'm still writing. I've wanted to explain the reason for my extended absence for quite some time, but I've struggled to know what to say.
I've always had to deal with a fair amount of health issues over the course of my life, from as young as one year old--migraines, epilepsy (luckily gone by 10 years old), depression, anxiety, CFS and Fibromyalgia, etc. But, recently, things seem to be coming to a head and putting me to the test. It's been difficult, especially during the crazy state the world is currently in, to get help from health professionals. And considering my never-ending list of symptoms (weakness, fatigue, pain, memory loss, lack of focus, etc), and the test results that always come back perfect, I understand the doctors' inability to give me a diagnosis. Though, out of all of my symptoms, the ones I'm struggling with, most of all, especially as an author, are my progressive loss of vision and disordered thoughts. I often, unknowingly, say the opposite of what I'm thinking, and have difficulty concentrating. And in just a few months, I've gone from 20/20 vision to barely being able to read the text on my television screen about 12 ft away. BUT, I'm stubborn AND determined to get to the bottom of it all. Nothing will stop me from doing what I love--and that's writing. I live and breathe it. So, I guess what I'm saying is: I'm still writing. I will always write, as long as I'm able. My timelines may be delayed, depending on my health, but please know that I'm dedicated to writing, and I hope you will continue to follow me on my journey to achieving my dream of becoming a best-selling author. I'd like to thank you, all of my readers, from the bottom of my heart, for all of the support you've already given me. PS: I have exciting news to tell you soon. Stay tuned! #imhere #update #whatsup #news #stillwriting #booklove #writingislife
